As I was on holiday this week, Tom Nancarrow – @TomAntNan has written all of the transfer rumours and done deals that have feature this week!
Done Deals –
Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of right-back Kieran Trippier for a fee of £3.5 million.
The former Burnley man created 63 chances last season, the only Lilywhite to beat that was Chrisitan Eriksen.
The 24-year old has signed a five-year deal with Spurs and called the move a no brainer.
BILD say Spurs are in a bidding war for German goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.
I am unsure of how much weight is in the claim we are trying to sign the Dortmund man but I would assume he is on the list of potential Lloris replacements, should the Frenchman go.
Reports have emerged that Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is being tailed my Tottenham this summer.
Christian Benteke also remains a target for striking options. The story rumbles on with Aston Villa’s star man… could be an expensive signing but he has a proven Premier League goal scoring record.
Reports in France have suggested Tottenham have ended their interest in signing former Newcastle man Yohan Cabaye and now have switched their attentions to dominating defender Aymen Abdennour.
Abdennour played a pivotal part in helping Monaco knock Arsenal out of the Champions League last season.
Reports in Spain claim Spurs have made an approach for defender Marc Bartra.
The Barcelona man was part of the Catalonians treble winning squad last season but only made 14 appearances in all competitions.
The Sun have heavily linked Tottenham to the £12 million signing of Lyon striker Clinton N’Jie.
A new week and another Ligue 1 striker we are being linked to… a quick Google of N’Jie… the Cameroonian is only 21 years of age and he notched 7 domestic goals for Lyon last season.
Emmanuel Adebayor has supposedly rejected “several offers” this summer already although Spurs are eager to sell.
I think I will leave my thoughts to myself on this one!
The Mirror claim Spurs will offer Aaron Lennon, Andros Townsend and cash in exchange for West Brom’s young English striker Saido Berahino.
The Baggies forward scored 14 goals in the Premier League goals last season and I believe he would be a superb partner for Harry Kane.
Mousa Dembele has been linked with moves to Chelsea and West Ham, according to The Sun.
The link sounds strange to me. I don’t believe Dembele is good enough to play at Chelsea but on the other hand I think Dembele is too good to let go to the Hammers.
The Sun has reported that Pochettino does not want to sell Kyle Walker despite the accusation of full back Kieron Trippier.
The Telegraph understand Spurs are targeting, Toby Alderweireld, Giannelli Imbula, Adrien Rabiot and Anthony Martial.
Alderweireld has been said to prefer a move to Spurs over Southampton. Adrien Rabiot has been a target for a while and the rumours surrounding the somewhat expensive Anthony Martial is still circling.
Legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been linked with a move to Tottenham should Hugo Lloirs depart this summer.
L’Equipe understand Manchester United will bid for Lloris this transfer window.
I would never want to let Lloris leave and I know Casillas’ career is tailing off but I would love to see such a legend play for Spurs.
Tottenham have allegedly told Andros Townsend he will not be leaving the club this summer.
The home gown winger was reportedly being tailed by Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa and West Brom.
Spurs have been linked with signing QPR striker Charlie Austin.
Austin netted 18 times in the Premier League and I personally feel he would be a good option to have in the squad to play up front with Kane or as another lone striker in rotation.
Tottenham target Morgan Schneiderlin has agreed to leave Southampton this summer according to The Daily Mail.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs are all in line to snap up the highly rated midfielder for a reported £24 million pound fee.
Galatasaray have confirmed they are not interested in signing Roberto Soldado.
The Turkish giants rumoured to be interested in the striker and were thought to be ready to match his £2.2 million salary but sporting director Cuneyt Tanman has discredited these rumours.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that defensive midfielder Etienne Capoue could be on his way to Watford for a fee in the region of £9 million. The Hornets are also said to be interested in signing Paulinho whose agent has confirmed there is concrete interest from clubs about signing the Brazilian.
Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande have emerged as favourites to sign Paulinho.
French Football News have reported Spurs have had a bid for AS Monaco striker Yannick Ferreira Carrasco rejected.
Tottenham’s 14 million Euros bid was rejected as Monaco are said to want at least 25 million Euros.
