Done deals and rumours – Week 2.

No done deals so far this week, hopefully we will see one or two this week!

Rumours –

Metro Sport claim that Tottenham are targeting Juventus pair, Angelo Ogbonna and Fernando Llorente.

The pair were in Juventus’ Champions League squad which got to the final, as well as clear winners of the Serie A. Rumours of a swap deal for Lamela has been circulating.

It could be nothing but Bolasie favourited TalkingTHFC’s tweet about him joining Spurs from Crystal Palace. Interesting for sure. Adebayor was also included in the deal.

Spurs are reportedly very confident of signing Kieran Trippier of Burnley as talks have now reached an advanced stage. The right-back has a £3.5 million buy-out clause which Tottenham are apparently very happy to submit to.

What do you guys think will be Trippier’s role? To try and Spur on Kyle Walker or to fight for a first team place?

Day 2 –

Sky Sports News report that Lewis Holtby will make his loan to Hamburg in Germany permanent on 1st July 2015 for a fee in the region of £5.5m/ I personally think Holtby would would incredibly effectively in Poch’s system.

Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal are in for Stoke City defensive midfielder Steven Nzonzi, he is apparently stalling his contract talks and it has led to the top 7 clubs circling over him.

Do you guys think he is good enough to play for those clubs?

Iker Casillas is being urged to join Tottenham by Real Madrid‘s representatives, should Lloris move to Manchester United. This would then pave the way for David De Gea to join Real Madrid.

In a bizarre world, all three goalkeepers could swap clubs, but in reality I don’t see it happening. Casillas will probably try and do better than Tottenham, whilst Tottenham and Man United will do their best to keep a hold of their retrospective ‘keepers.

A potential done deal!

Tottenham are due to sign Kieran Tripper subject to a medical and personal terms, report Sky sources. I reported this yesterday but it appears to be official today. Tottenham have reached Trippier’s £3.5 million buyout clause.
